INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY STUDIES IN CREECE, CRETE

INTRODUCTION

Crete, the birthplace of European Civilization, is an extremely attractive tourism destination. With a population of over 700,000, the most dynamic sector of the Cretan economy is tourism. Its remarkable tourist resorts attract more than two million visitors every year.
The College provides students with quality education and training both in terms of academic content as well as in terms of practical experience in an environment perfectly suited for this purpose.

    All students live in Terra Maris, a newly erected five-star hotel, right next to the Creta Maris resort hotel. Operating from May to September as an Ultra All Inclusive Wellness and Golf Resort hotel it is the perfect setting for unforgettable top quality All-Inclusive Holidays.    Double occupancy at the 5 star Terra Maris Hotel. Room fully equipped with TV, phone, desk, fridge, A/C, bath, safety deposit box, Internet connection.
• Full board (three meals a day).
• The TRINITY Campus and residence facilities have been fully adapted to accommodate physically disabled persons.

ENTRANCE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS


• Age 17+
• High School Diploma
• Working knowledge of English
• Love for the tourism and hospitality business
• Desire to learn and  pursue goals plus willingness to work


ENROLMENT REQUIREMENTS


Candidates for admission to the College need to take the following steps to ensure a timely processing of their application:
1. Submit a properly completed Application Form to the Admissions Officer together with a one time non-refundable application fee of 25 EURO (international bank draft or money order payable to the College).
2. Submit a high school diploma (translated into English by an official authority if applicable) and a full and official transcript of academic record.
3. Provide official copies of English language qualifications (e.g. Cambridge Proficiency in English or Michigan Proficiency in English or TOEFL or official documentation of attendance at an English speaking High School or University).*
*Candidates who cannot provide English language qualification documentation will be required to take the College English placement test (also available on line).
4. Submit two letters of Academic References (form provided by the College).
5. Submit a Doctor’s Certificate (form provided by the College).
6. Submit a photocopy of ID card/passport (EU citizens).
7. Two passport size photographs.
Additional documents for non European Union citizens only:
8. Copy of Notarized Financial Statement (form provided by the College).
9. Copy of Evidence of financial resources to cover living and studying expenses while in Greece.
Successful candidates, upon notification of their acceptance by e-mail, must deposit the registration fee of 300 EURO. On the receipt of the official acceptance letter by courier, candidates must deposit the full amount of tuition (and accommodation if applicable).


VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR NON EUROPEAN UNION CITIZENS


All incoming students who are not European Union Citizens are required to comply with certain rules and regulations concerning the issuance in order to be able to enter the country. The College assists students in locating the Greek Embassy or Consular Office closest to their place of residence.
In order to process their visa application students are required to provide the Greek Embassy or Consulate in their home country with:
• A validated certificate of acceptance by the College.
• A declaration forms the student’s home country that the candidate has no criminal record.
• Two (2) copies of their passport.
•  Ten (10) color passport size
• A completed and notarized financial statement (form provided by the College)
• Evidence of financial resources to cover living and studying expenses while in Greece.
• An   International Health Certificate.


TUITION FEES, ACCOMMODATION EXPENSES AND OTHER CHARGES


• For a full time student who takes a full course load (five course per semester), the tuition fees will be 5*600 EURO=3000 EURO per semester or 6000 EURO per year. This it’s includes all necessary items required for class instruction plus computer lab, library, student room, sports facilities, game room, gym and parking.
•  One time registration fee :300 EURO
•  Double occupancy at the 5-star Terra Maris Hotel. Room fully equipped with TV, phone, desk, fridge, A/C, bath, safety deposit box, Internet connection. Full board (three meals a day plus scheduled-coffee breaks). Cost: 1975 EURO per semester. Room and board per year (October-April) will be 3950 EURO.
