COURSE DESCRIPTION
The school was founded in 1965, it has organized over the past four decades, educational, cultural and language programs for juniors, teenagers, students and professionals around the world. At school they know that a successful programme is made of different key ingredients: a carefully planned organization, a safe, comfortable and warm environment, challenging academic programs or work experience placements, individual support and assistance during the stay and good preparation before departure. This is why their programs are carefully selected, tested and regularly monitored. All our teachers are qualified and experienced FLE teachers. This program is ideal for students who want to gain a hands-on experience in a French company and to apply their language skills in a work environment. Students will get the opportunity to practice their skills in various sizes hotels and restaurants. Positions offered vary according to language skills and previous experiences in this fields. The school works with a large number of companies and offers placements in many different fields, such as : Sales, Marketing, Administration, Accounting, Tourism, Fashion, I.T., Industry, Agriculture, Law, Advertising, Translation.
LOCATION:
All over France, placements are made according to availabilities.
LEGNTH OF THE PROGRAM:
3 to 6 months.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
Room attendant, receptionist, waitperson, bartender, kitchen attendant, etc.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Internship contact with a French hotel and/or restaurant. Full-time or part-time. Legal full-time in France in this industry is 39 hrs per week. One day is usually worked during the week-end or on a shift work basis. 2 days off per week, not necessarily consecutive. Each hotel or restaurant has its own working arrangement that trainees must accept. Each of them is different and will provide different standards of accommodation or food. Participant will get a training allowance (about 150-200 per month). Some students may be provided with their accommodation ad food depending on the hotel/ restaurant.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Àge: 18-25. Minimum level of French: upper intermediate (possibility to take French courses prior to the work placement for students who do not have the level required); Academic training and/or previous experience in the Hotel/Catering industry or similar; Flexible, inquisitive participants, willing to devote themselves to the hotel/restaurant; Individual interview; Application: minimum 8 weeks before start of program; Uniform to be brought.

• You will have to fill an application form • You will need a letter from the school confirming your course • Also you will need financial documents proving that you can support yourself in France (e.g. bank statement) • Passport • Medical insurance • Other documents.
NOTE:
The whole amount of the program should be paid after having visa issued! The following are not included in programme fee: travel tickets, visa insurance, personal and health insurance and consular fee etc.
