TEACH UK PROGRAM (GREAT BRITAIN)
COURSE DESCRIPTION
TeachUK is a unique programme, which is open to qualified and non qualified teachers. Placements are located in schools and colleges throughout the UK. Teach UK participants will spend four weeks at Salisbury studying valuable employment skills before commencing their school placement. After finishing their placement students will return to Salisbury to complete their programme and sit a nationally recognized NCFE examination.
PROGRAM OPTIONS
There are two options open to students, depending on their educational qualifications and background:
Option1 - Open to qualified teachers.
Following a week induction course at Salisbury, placements are located in prestigious schools and colleges throughout the UK. Whilst on placement accommodation, food and pocket money are provided to the intern, who will be working in a teaching assistant, dormitory aid and after school hours supervisor. Option2 - Open to under graduates and graduates in other faculties than teaching. Following a week induction course at , placements are located in schools and colleges throughout the UK. Accommodation assistance given, but the intern does not receive payment - it is a voluntary internship placement. Duties will include assisting teachers and monitoring children during school hours. You can also choose a variant of the program with following duration:
Variant 1: 4 weeks study, 22 weeks vocational placement, 1 week study Variant 2: 8 weeks study, 18 weeks vocational placement, 1 week study Variant 3: 12 weeks study, 22 weeks vocational placement, 1 week study Variant 4: 16 weeks study, 18 weeks vocational placement, 1 week study
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• Undergraduates and university graduates or college students • Minimum level of English (intermediate English required for Option 1. Lower level English accepted for option 4.

• Completed application form • CV • Letter of Motivation • 2 passport pictures • Police background check • 2 references • Teaching qualification ( for Option 1)
DOCUMENTS FOR VISA PROCEDURE
• You will have to fill in a VAF 1 form • You will need a letter from the school confirming your course • Also you will need financial documents proving that you can support yourself in Great Britain (e.g. bank statement) • Passport • Other documents.
NOTE:
The whole amount of the program should be paid after having visa issued! The following are not included in programme and accommodation fee: registration fee, travel, for example to/ from host family accommodation, visa insurance, personal and health insurance and consular fee etc.
